Floors is a reputable company in the floor covering industry that has
been serving Nanaimo since 1986. We are currently seeking a motivated
and experienced
Flooring Sales Professional to join our team. The
ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent
customer service skills, and a deep knowledge of flooring materials
and installation processes. This position offers the opportunity to
work with a diverse customer base, contribute to business growth, and

Responsibilities
Customer
Service:
-
Greet
customers, understand their flooring needs, and provide expert
advice and recommendations.
- Assist
customers in selecting appropriate flooring materials based on their
preferences, budget, and specific requirements.
- Answer
customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products,
pricing, installation, and warranties.
- Ensure
exceptional customer service at all times and build long-term
relationships with clients.
Sales
and Estimation:

Actively
engage in selling flooring products and services to meet or exceed
sales targets.
- Generate
sales leads through various channels, including referrals,
networking, and prospecting.
- Conduct
on-site visits to customers' homes or commercial spaces to assess
flooring needs, measure areas, and provide accurate estimates.
- Prepare
and present detailed quotes, including product recommendations,
pricing, and installation timelines.
Product
Knowledge and Expertise:

Stay
up-to-date with the latest flooring products, trends, and industry
developments.
- Demonstrate
a comprehensive understanding of different flooring materials, their
characteristics, installation methods, and maintenance requirements.
- Educate
customers on the benefits and features of various flooring options
to help them make informed decisions.
Project
Management:

Collaborate
with customers, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure seamless
project execution.
- Coordinate
with installation teams to schedule and manage flooring
installations.
- Conduct
regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and address
any concerns or issues that arise.
Administration:

Maintain
accurate and organized customer records, including quotes, orders,
and communication history.
- Process
sales transactions, invoices, and payments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate
with the administrative team to ensure proper inventory management
and stock replenishment.
Requirements:

Previous
sales experience in the flooring industry or a related field.
- In-depth
knowledge of different flooring materials, including hardwood,
laminate, carpet, vinyl, and tile.
- Strong
customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent
communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented
with good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency
in computer applications, including MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid
driver's license and reliable transportation.
